GET TO KNOW OUR STORY

They met in Lake Tahoe for a weekend getaway with friends who insisted they come along. They both didn't want to go to but little did they know their lives were going to change forever. When they were introduced, they shook hands and she immediately said "Oh we're not going to get along" since he was wearing a 49ers jersey, to which he replied "Oh I think we will". It was truly love at first sight. They had the weekend to get to know each other and they found that they were the complete opposite with things they liked, but like they say opposites attract. The weekend came to an end, she lived in Antioch and he lived in San Francisco, so they wondered what would happen next. Their connection was so strong that they couldn't bear to simply go their separate ways, they knew this was something bigger. They followed their hearts and decided to pursue this venture. The weekend after Lake Tahoe, he went to Antioch to take her out on their first date and they both enjoyed each other's company. They spent every weekend together after and their love grew more each day. A year went by and they realized they were perfect for each other and couldn't stand the thought of being without one another.
On December 3rd, 2017 with the company of their friends and families, and their song playing in the background, he surprised her with a big gift box. She opened it and a balloon popped up with the words "Will you marry me?". She turned around and saw him down on one knee holding a ring and asked her to marry him. Now they anxiously wait for August 17, 2019 where they will celebrate their happily after.
